【 In the Thick of Things 】 This is a factory finished R/C model of the Ferrari F2012 which was a central character in the dramatic 2012 Formula One season, leading the Championship from the middle of the season and staying in contention until the final race. The model faithfully recreates the F2012's distinctive form, including the upward-flowing side pontoons, complex front wing and the stepped nose which was designed to conform to regulations. Side mirrors, bargeboards and vertical fins are reproduced as separate parts. Moreover, side pontoons feature a highly realistic finish. The car comes pre-painted in unmistakable Ferrari red, with markings for car No.5 applied.
【 Direct Drive 2WD Chassis 】 The F104 chassis features a double-deck frame equipped with 2.0mm thick upper and 3.2mm thick lower FRP plates and has the battery placed in a longitudinal position to allow for a slim body design. Suspension features a simple and proven 3-point system. Front upper arms are connected to uprights with ball connectors, and the front ground clearance can be easily adjusted by altering the spacer positions. Rear suspension features the combination of friction plates and a coil spring. The highly efficient direct drive 2WD features the motor pinion directly connected to the spur gear which has a built-in ball differential. Realistic semi-pneumatic rubber tires are equipped with inner sponges for superb traction. The included forward/reverse ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) allows smooth driving.
【 2.4GHz Transmitter included 】 In addition to the painted body, this item also includes a wheel-type transmitter, battery pack and charger to allow instant enjoyment of driving. (*Battery pack and charger are included for Japan market only.) The 2.4GHz transmitter eliminates the need for frequency crystals, and is factory-paired with the receiver in the model to ensure that the receiver communicates with that transmitter only. Transmitter features detachable grip covers to match your hand size as well as a throttle trigger cover to increase the size of the throttle trigger for easier operation.
