Seen at this year’s toy fair Hobbytech have released their new Spirit EP 1/8th scale brushless chassis. This high spec competition buggy features a narrow 3mm lightweight chassis plate design with optimal weight distribution and ultra low center of gravity. Other highlights include machined aluminium rear hubs and steering knuckles, hard coated shock bodies, lightweight aluminium front and rear adjustable toe-in plates, a 2 piece motor mount and carbon fibre shock towers.
F.V.S.S. bearing grease provides great protection to your bearing by maintaining lubrication and adding an extra barrier that helps block dust/dirt to reach the deep groove. This grease is a light white and capable of performing at temps between -50°C to 150°C and ensures incredible smoothness, extending the life of your bearing. The grease is supplied in a syringe which makes it super easy to apply. The syringe holds 1 oz (19 g) of grease and ships as pictured minus the ziplock bag which includes a rubber sealing tip.
S-Workz have been in touch to tell us that their S350 BE1 conversion kit is now available. The set allows you to convert your gas powered BK1 1/8th scale buggy into the brushless BE1 and comes complete with everything you need, minus electronics, such as new chassis, battery mounts, body shell etc.

Arrowmax have released a full set of premium-quality pinions in 64 pitch. Made from the highest quality 7075-T6 aluminium and hard coated they are both tough and lightweight. Available in a full range from 17T – 52T.
To partner the super-cool WR8 3.0 World Rally Championship replica, HPI Racing have also got a Flux-powered electric version that is tuned for tarmac rally fun and excitement. The WR8 Flux has all of the tough drivetrain components of the nitro version, however it’s powered by a 4000Kv Flux Vektor motor and your choice of 2S or 3S LiPo battery. JConcepts introduce the B44.1 Mono wheels, 8/32″ thin-pattern locking wheels nuts and black medium-size body clips. Starting with the wheels, these are a direct fit on the Team Associated B44.1 buggy and match the design of the rear Mono wheels that are around for a while now. They offer the maximum size allowed under ROAR rules and make a statement with their large appearance, slight convex dish shaped design and superior inner rib design. The wheels incorporate an outer glue catch that resists excess glue from running down the wheel face during the gluing process. The wheel comes in sets of four and is available in yellow and white colour.
Announced some time ago and available very soon is Team Durango’s DEST210R 2WD stadium truck. The truck that is based on the DEX210 buggy and features a newly designed longer moulded composite chassis, and the patent pending gear box that allows to run several configurations such as 3-gear and 4-gear layout in one gear box. Also included in the kit are highly adjustable suspension components that make use of interchangeable inserts to adjust caster and rear toe settings, big bore shock absorbers, captive pin CVD rear driveshafts, new 15mm front and rear disc rims as well as a unique stadium truck body shell.
