Bittydesign have introduced their all-new Vision 1/8th nitro buggy body shell for the Mugen MBX8. Designed in collaboration with Nitro Buggy World Champion, Robert Batlle the body will offer an easier to drive and more balanced feeling compared to the Mugen kit body thanks to a new cabin, side pod and rear side flaps design that optimises the aerodynamic characteristics. In addition a flap behind the engine area guides the air towards the rear wing for a smoother and more directed airflow around the shock tower and lower wing mount. The body comes moulded from high-quality 1mm Lexan polycarbonate and…
Following a couple of first teasers Tekno RC have fully unveiled their new NB48 2.0 1/8th scale nitro buggy kit. The buggy builds on a newly designed chassis that is 1mm thinner than the previous main plate, however due to its wider design its reduces twitchiness and improves handling and flex characteristics on rough tracks. The buggy also does not sport a traditional radio tray but separate radio and battery boxes as well as independent servo mounts for a more equal left/right chassis flex. Both the battery and receiver box are of the same dimensions, allowing to swap battery and…
Japanese company Team Bomber have announced the release of their new TB-M Type R 225mm wheelbase M-class body shell. Resembling a European-style hatchback touring car the body is performance oriented yet with looks to match. Included in the body set come two different rear wings, a straight and a curved design, that allow to create different looks and downforce levels. Other features include lightweight wing mounts, window masks and a decal sheet. The body is usable with pretty much every 225mm wheelbase M-class touring car.
Xtreme Aerodynamics from Italy have announced the release of their new Super Diablo body shell for 1/8th IC track cars. Based on the highly successful Diablo body, the Super Diablo features an updated front end design that offers even more steering response while retaining overall balance and corner speed. The body is available in lightweight and ultra-lightweight variants, uncut or pre-cut for most of today’s 1/8th on-road kits.
Coming from SWorkz and made for the S35-3 1/8th buggies is a pre-painted body shell. Factory painted and pre-cut the body is ready-to-mount for the electric buggy with some minor prepping being required to make the lid fit to the nitro-powered car, such as cutting the pre-marked fuel tank and cooling head openings. Included with the body comes a nose cone and a pre-cut decal sheet.
Mon-Tech Racing from Italy have introduced their all-new Montecarlo body shell for 190mm touring cars. The body is of the latest high-downforce design to offer improved steering response, rear traction and ease of driving both at high and low speeds without compromising in-corner rotation, overall stability and looks. The lid is available in ETS legal standard thickness and also as a lightweight variant and it includes window masks, a decal sheet and lightweight wing mounting hardware.
Leadfinger Racing have announced the release of their A2.1 Tactic body shell for the HB Racing D819 and E819 buggies. The A2.1 Tactic body is a one off design that delivers a tuning option in between the original LFR Assassin and A2 Tactic bodies and it features the addition of the cowl scoops on the side pods. Depending on the performance the driver is looking for, these can be left alone to add to the overall down force of the car, or owners can choose to drill them out for additional cooling. When opened up, the pipe side of the…
GForce is busy adding more competition LiPo battery packs to their growing range with the latest addition being a lightweight low-profile 3800mAh shorty battery. The pack is built using high-quality 65C/130C cells that allow to construct a low profile 18.5mm tall battery of just 155g of weight. The battery has a 93x46mm footprint and it is ideal for all applications that require high power output but not the utmost of capacity.
Coming in late September is MST’s new MTX-1 2WD ready-to-run monster truck with TH1 body shell. The 2WD design makes the vehicle ideal for all entry level drivers with a soon-to-be-released 4WD conversion allowing to upgrade the truck if the owner is in need of more forward traction and overall performance. The 463mm long truck comes fully assembled, it features oil-filled shock absorbers, a gear-type differential and large 130x78mm tyres. The RTR kit is decked out with a pre-decorated body shell in a vintage multi-colour racing livery.
