Supporting customers of his 1up Racing products trackside at the ROAR Electric On-Road Carpet Nationals, Randy Caster, a stalwart of the onroad racing scene in the US, has picked up on an interesting car competing in the event – Scott Jakes 3D printed 1:12.  Taking place at Eric Anderson’s Apex Raceway in Tennessee, Jakes is racing his latest project in the 13.5 1:12 class and as Caster points out in his social media post about this 3D printed car this could well be a glimpse of the future of the hobby. Blitz has released it’s latest 1:8 Onroad competition bodyshell which they have simply named ‘Speed’.  Available in both standard 1.0mm and light 0.7mm lexan options it comes with body stiffener set, window mask, and sticker included. Ollie Payne is the new 2023 British 1:12 National Champion after making it four wins from as many races over the weekend in Tamworth.  Securing the TQ for both the third and fourth rounds of the six round BRCA National Championship, the Schumacher driver took victory over young Daniel Robbins on the Saturday and Louis Parker on Sunday, his perfect weekend securing the overall Modified title.  In 13.5, the weekend produced two first time winners.  On Saturday Sam Coult secured the TQ before going on to take his maiden National win from Andy Smith and 1:12 veteran Mark Stiles.  Day…
