Coming soon from Mugen is a new line of Ninja JX nitro engines. First up is the JX21-B03 for 1/8th nitro buggies, truggies and the up and coming nitro GT on-road class. Offering a good amount of usable power and a high fuel economy the engine features a square bore and stroke configuration, DLC-coated and balanced tuned crankshaft, a ceramic rear ball bearing for increased throttle response and a higher top speed, a light weight low-profile cooling head with laser-etched Ninja graphics, and an easy-to-tune three needle carburettor with aluminium 6.5mm venturi. The engine will become available around June or July.

Axial have a range of new parts for the Yeti XL and SCX10 off-road vehicles available. First up is the 3.8 Falken Wildpeak M/T all terrain tyre that will offer tons of traction on many surfaces, even with its rather conservative pattern. It comes as pairs in sticky R35 compound, including foam inserts and the tyre fits the Yeti XL off-road buggy.

Team C introduce a heat sink fan mount for most of today’s 1/10th brushless speed controllers. The part is designed to mount 30mm fans onto of brushless ESC in order to improve heat dissipation over the standard 25mm fans. Made from aluminium and coming orange or gun metal anodised the fan mount offers a 25mm mounting pattern for the controller heatsink and a 30mm pattern for the fan. Additionally the fan sits at an angle to blow towards the motor, doing away with the need to use an additional unit. Included with the mount comes a genuine WTF 30mm fan.

Traxxas have upgraded VXL Brushless RTR kits available such as the Bandit 1/10th 2WD buggy and the Stampede 2WD truck. Both are proven platforms and around for some time and they feature powerful brushless systems, capable of propelling the cars to speeds of more than 110km/h, they include TQi 2.4GHz radio systems, 7-cell NiMH battery packs and suitable chargers. New to both kits is the Traxxas Stability Management that helps providing straight ahead full-throttle acceleration on slippery surfaces, without fishtailing, spinouts, and loss of control. High speed cornering and control is also made possible as TSM makes corrections in the background, without intruding on fun, or creating unexpected side effects. Both kits will hit the stores very soon.

Team Associated have introduced the all-new SC5M Team Kit 1/10th scale 2WD short course truck. Based on Team Associated’s B5M platform, the truck shares closes ties with the of the B5M and T5M to design the ultimate short course truck chassis that utilises all the advantages that come with a mid-motor configuration. The kit features a high performance, no-compromise dedicated mid-motor designed chassis, configured specifically for short course and it shares nearly 90 percent of the parts as the B5M and T5M Team Kits, making it easier than ever to run multiple classes at the same time. From the aluminium hard anodised chassis, to the Factory Team V2 threaded shocks, to the Factory Team VTS slipper clutch, the SC5M Team Kit comes with all of these features and many more. The kit will become available in July.

Xpert RC USA announces a new generation low-profile servos, the PI-3402 and PM-3402. Both are upgraded with newly designed, stronger brushless motors and a new high strength gear sets. The new PI-3402 (0.07s/15kg-cm) incorporates the black colour scheme that is a favourite of racers and it is usable with 4.8V to 6.0V input while the PM-3402 is understood to make use of alloy top and bottom segments.

Italian company WRC will soon have a new 1/10th Formula body and new tyres and wheels available. Little is known about the new parts beside what can be seen in the image but the body looks pretty 2015-ish with its low and channelled nose design while the tyres seem to make use of a lower profile tyre wall and larger diameter rims, resembling Pirelli’s 2014 18 inch test wheels. No release date is know yet but we bring you more information as soon as they surface.

GForce introduce the Super Extreme brushless stock racing motor line. Coming as 13.5T, 17.5T and 21.5T variant the motors offer a newly designed T6 aluminium can with improved airflow for better heat dissipation and a more constant performance during a run. The motors are of a high-RPM design, the make use of sintered neodymium 12.3mm rotors, heavy duty solder tabs and allow for timing adjustment via the dual sensor port endbell.
